Meet Laurel Felsenfeld, Company Founder and President!
- Received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree, Cum Laude,
with School of Nursing Honors from Oakland University,
Rochester Hills, Michigan in 1987.
- Is a certified specialist in rehabilitation nursing (CRRN)
and case management (CCM).
- Has worked as a registered nurse in a variety of clinical settings,
including traumatic brain injury unit, general rehabilitation unit, hospital discharge planning department, and home health care agencies.
- Manages complex medical care and rehabilitation services for developmentally disabled children and adults referred by probate attorneys, and has done this work since 1993.
- In 1995, she entered the field of insurance case management
nursing to coordinate medical care for persons disabled by work
related injuries and automobile accidents.
- She opened her private practice in insurance case management
in 1997, and geriatric care management in 1999.
- Laurel conducts utilization reviews, and JCAHO and Medicare
compliance audits for local home care agencies and hospitals.
She is also on the advisory board for Health Care Partners, Inc.
a Medicare Certified home care agency of Southfield, Michigan.
- Is an active member of the National Association of Professional
Geriatric Care Managers; Case Management Society of America;
Registered Nurse Insurance Council of Southeastern Michigan,
Oakland-Macomb Center for Independent Living; Michigan Quality Community Care Council Task Force; Michigan “Bad Apple”

- Volunteer, Oakland University Students In Free Enterprise entrepreneur camp: a one-week immersion into the business of business for local economically disadvantaged high school juniors and seniors.
